Adidas – 4DFWD – Music Composer
Commissioned by 3Tone Music Publishing
After discovering Sterling's visionary track "Lead 3" on a rare Spotify playlist, Adidas’ third-party music supervision agency enlisted 3Tone Music Publishing to connect with Sterling for a unique opportunity.
The brief was to compose and mix an original soundtrack for the Adidas 4DFWD Innovation film, designed to promote their latest groundbreaking footwear technology. Known for his ability to seamlessly blend melodic elements with intricate sound design and advanced frequency manipulation, Sterling crafted a bespoke track that perfectly resonated with the brand’s vision.
The resulting composition not only captured the essence of Adidas’ innovation but also spoke directly to their target audience—young people aged 16 to 25—delivering a forward-thinking, dynamic sound that aligned with the future of footwear.
Channel 4 – Cornish Dream – Sound Editor & Music Composer
Produced in-house at 4Studio.
On the project “Finding the Cornish Dream,” I was invited to take on a multifaceted role that involved supervising, editing, composing and mixing the audio. It was an incredible opportunity to contribute to a piece that truly resonated with me, especially given the stunning landscapes and rich cultural history of Cornwall, which played a big part in shaping the overall atmosphere of the production.
In addition to composing, I also took on the role of supervising the audio production, which meant overseeing the entire sound design and making sure that every aspect, from dialogue to sound effects to music, was perfectly integrated. I worked closely with the directors and the production team to ensure that the sound matched the project's vision and enhanced the storytelling.
The project was both challenging and rewarding, and I’m proud of the way the audio adds a deeper layer to the Cornish dream we aimed to convey.
Underlying the Beautiful (Arts Project) – Sound Designer

Underlying the Beautiful is a collaborative audiovisual arts project between Louis Sterling (as Auxx), video producer Ben White, and URBNET Records (North America).
With 80 layers of rich, textured audio, it incorporates advanced synthesis techniques—AM, FM, Granular, and Wavetable synthesis—to create a dynamic, evolving soundscape where organic and synthetic elements collide. The result is a bold, forward-thinking composition that invites listeners to explore new depths of auditory innovation and creativity.
Directed and produced by Ben White in Bath, UK, the project blends visual and sonic artistry to push the boundaries of creative expression. The featured track is a deeply immersive exploration of electronic sound design, meticulously crafted to challenge conventional sonic norms.
